The people and the service were amazing, so kind and always helping out when we had questions. The food in the restaurant was great, big portions and a lot to choose from (also for vegetarians). The room was beautiful, very spacious and we had the best sleep throughout our entire time at the Philippines - perfectly quiet and very comfortable beds. The rooms were cleaned each day. The hotel area itself is very nicely set up and maintained - it's like a little oasis :) We also booked a tour via the hotel (which was very touristic, but at least the chocolate hills are a must-see!) and appreciated the option to have the laundry done via the hotel. The location is quite far away from the airport/ Panglao/activities, but that also comes with more tranquility and less tourists, exactly what we wanted. The sea can be accessed directly from the hotel, but there's no beach to relax at. There are multiple sunbeds and a pool at the hotel though. We once also walked to the White Beach closeby, didn't stay there though, as it's rather dirty and there are sand flies everywhere. If you want a calm and relaxing stay and don't care about the remote location, Casa Amihan is the best choice in Anda!

We chose this resort specifically for the more rural location, away from the mass tourism to seek tranquility. Our expectations have been exceeded overall :) The staff was very helpful and friendly, We were able to walk along the beautiful natural private beach - Big surprise to us and how great it was to walk along the beaches and rocks there! You can swim and snorkel there, too. If you're lucky you'll see some cool wildlife, too (e.g. big lizards...) The food was incredibly delicious and professionally cooked and kept the homey Filipino feeling and taste, which we deeply enjoyed! My favourite drink was the Mangorita ;) We had a fantastic time here and would definitely recommend this to other couples or other guests who seek a quiet place and are OK with being far away from everything. For those who are wondering how we traveled on the island. We rented a car and were therefore quite independent. Please note: I wouldn't recommend renting a car generally in the Philippines if you are not acquainted with the road and traffic culture as well as some challenging road infrastructure.

We loved the tranquility and natural beauty this beautiful hotel offered us. The warm welcome and friendliness of the team was really a stand out feature. We felt like we got to know Philippine life at this hotel far more than anywhere else we stayed . We don’t want it to change ! Thankyou to Terri and Joy and Harold and your family for ensuring our stay with you was exceptional. A further highlight was the boat trip from the steps .. ( ask the hotel to organize ) we were fortunate to see turtles swimming and resting.. the good bit? No other tourists… just us … the snorkeling amongst the coves is great as is just idling watching local families come to their beach to collect and eat sea urchins… … our room was sublime .. basic, rustic and our own terrace overlooking the ocean ………

Our whole family loved Casa Amihan. It's quiet and peaceful - perfect for both families and couples. There is a small but lovely beach that can be accessed directly from the hotel. The staff are so helpful and the food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. We also booked a private snorkelling tour through reception, which was great. Captain Joey found some great snorkel spots and Dennis was amazing with looking after our 5 year old so she could snorkel too. All in all, it was a perfect stay and we wish we could have stayed longer!

Casa Amihan is such a lovely place! The atmosphere is so tranquil, the scenery so idyllic - it's perfect for relaxation. The staff was by far the nicest we had met during our many stops throughout the visayas. Absolutely the best! And the food was fantastic! They even had some vegetarian options (albeit limited), which is a tough find in the Philippines. It's a little far from the main atteactions in Bohol, but there is still some things to see in the area with the added bonus of no crowds!
